The Nairobi Securities Exchange Hits a 3 Year High as Stocks Rally
The value of shares traded on the Nairobi Securities Exchange hit a three-year high signalling a return of confidence in equities due to improved business performance
The Nairobi Securities Exchange (NSE) hit a 3 year high thanks to a rally of various stocks in the last couple of months.
These stocks include Safaricom, Equity, KCB, East African Breweries and cooperative bank of Kenya.
The rally has been attributed to the sustained recovery of business performance, dividend declarations and payouts.
With the improved performance of the NSE and recovery of the economy, now would be a good time to consider starting to invest or increase your investment in stocks.
