Kenya’s inflation rate eases down to 5.76% in April as compared to 5.9% in March.
This decrease is attributed to the cancellation of further fuel increments by the Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA) on April 14. This helped bring down the transport index which has had a significant impact on the rise of inflation in the past.
